LARS DE WIJNGAERT

Hello, my name is Lars. I am the Owner/Director of the Orange Tulip Hospitality Ltd, Orange Rose Hospitality Ltd and Orange Windmill Hospitality Ltd - the companies that run businesses and the Three Tuns Biddenham, The French Horn Steppingley & The Bell Odell respectively.
I am from The Netherlands and came to the UK in 1989, looking to build a career.
My background is with Hilton and other hotel companies, as well as several restaurant groups, including managing Wagamama restaurants for 16 years.
Before setting up my own business I was Operations Manager, looking after 3 pubs, including my 2 current ones.
TOM (CHEF)

Local talent with a degree in culinary art management.
Ladies….he’s a feeder. Spirit animal: Border collie. Focused, hardworking and always moving with purpose. He rolls up to work yelling ‘’come on you spurs’’ with the enthusiasm of a man who believes he is personally responsible for the team’s success.
SHIV (MANAGER)

Age: 21 years old with plus 10 years’ experience (don’t ask questions!).

Having worked in hospitality for 15+ years; from champagne bars in the Alps, to cocktail bars in London, Shiv brings energy, passion and enthusiasm to the village of Odell. It‘s not just a job it is a passion. Stressed, blessed, and coffee obsessed. Runs on espresso and questionable life choices. Firm believer that age, calories and counting glasses of wine are myths made up by the government!
If you hear a cork pop, there’s a 94% chance she is “doing quality control.”
MAX (STAFF)

Age: 21 - Time served eternal!
Cute, charming, and has allegedly worked here longer than the actual building has existed. Part of the furniture — please do not attempt to pick him up or rearrange him.
Spirit animal: A handsome houseplant, been here forever, adds ambience, occasionally needs watering…with Guinness. Once poured a pint so perfect it made a grown man weep. Has been chasing that high ever since!
AIDEN (STAFF)

Age: unknown. Time served unknown.
Sexy Colombian wanderer with hair so glorious it has its own postcode. Face: dazzling. Passport stamps: concerning. Spirit animal: that guy who “went travelling for a year” and returned five years later with a tattoo he can’t explain. Makes drinks strong enough to make you believe you, too, should quit your job and travel the world. Warning: prolonged exposure may result in spontaneous salsa dancing!
